Guess Who? Using photos to practice questions with WHO and WHAT

Question formation is addressed in the early levels of any and all grammar book series, yet the topic occasionally causes difficulty even for more advanced students. I’ve already suggested Partners’ Pastimes, an activity that reviewed all wh- questions in the present tense. Today I want to offer an activity that specifically targets questions with who and what. The difference between questions about the subject and questions about an object seems to escape the notice of some learners especially in the course of conversation, when their attention is more on meaning and less on form.
