		<description><![CDATA[The most wonderful thing is that you were given a chance and were able to succeed. The second most wonderful thing is that, after all these years, you remember and appreciate that teacher! If we all manage to make a difference in only one person&#039;s life, then we are fortunate. I&#039;d like to think that maybe at some point later in life there was a person who reached out to that old friend of yours and gave him some support and guidance.

		<description><![CDATA[One of my best teachers was my grade 9 math teacher. I was shy and starving for attention in the early part of the year and so I sat a the back of the class with another classmate who I had hung out with in grade 7&amp;8. Seems he was starting to get into things that later messed him up and my teacher then probably caught this and for some reason, thinking I had some future left, insisted I sit in the front of the class. My grades skyrocketed and looking back, I can see that I was fortunate to be &quot;rescued&quot; from my classmate&#039;s shady influence.]]></description>
